Recreation Programs
Lanark Heights Long Term Care has created an outstanding array of programs to both reflect and engage the interests of each resident. New programs are constantly introduced.
- Planned outings keep residents active and involved with the community
- Family and friends are always welcome to participate in life at the Home and to attend our annual barbeque and Christmas celebrations, to name a few
- A wide range of church services ensure that spiritual needs are met
- A full calendar of daily activities keeps residents active and involved
- Nearby schools offer the delightful opportunity for intergenerational sharing
Our focus on wellness provides the residents with the opportunity to improve and/or maintain their physical and functional capacities. Residents can participate in a supervised exercise program that can restore certain aspects of their physical abilities after events that have occurred, such as hip or knee replacement. The residents can also use the supervised exercise program to improve their health, so as to prevent other possible health problems from developing.
