Dining & Menu
At Lanark Place we understand that meal times are focal points of the day. We make special efforts to provide exceptional food services that offer choice, nutrition and taste, to be anticipated and joyfully shared with friends.
Our bright, elegant dining lounges buzz with energy at meal times as residents anticipate tasty homemade meals. Experienced friendly staff provide restaurant style service at meals, offering two choices of entrees.
Guest dining is available for residents to entertain friends and family or to celebrate a special occasion.
Lanark Place meal preparation philosophy:
- We set up menus according to our residents' tastes and requests
- We try to reflect their varying backgrounds and cultures
- The majority of meals are prepared from scratch in our own kitchens
- We follow the guidelines published by Canada's Food Guide
- Guest meals are available upon request
Lanark Place's kitchen regularly experiments with new recipes. If a resident asks us to try a new recipe we prepare it and seek reaction from the residents. If new recipes meet with resident approval we incorporate them into the regular menu.
Special dietary needs may be accommodated by our Food Services Team.
