Land Development

In the early 50's, Sifton Properties was among the first in Canada to specialize in the development of comprehensive planned communities that offer residents new homes, recreational, shopping and commercial services. Since that time, Sifton has been a leading player in the development of several communities that have shaped the residential landscape of the London and southwestern Ontario housing markets.

Earlier developments include Oakridge Acres, Oakridge Park, Berkshire Village, Westmount, Whitehills and Hazeldon North in London as well as communities in Brantford, Guelph, Sarnia, Simcoe and Windsor. Current developments in Richmond Hill, Upland Hills and RiverBend, a gated, private residential community complete with a championship 18 hole golf course, are considered by many as premium developments by new homes buyers in the London area.

Today, Sifton Properties owns or controls approximately 1,500 acres in Southwestern Ontario, including over 1,300 acres of prime development land in London alone, ready to absorb the natural growth and expansion of Southwestern Ontario's largest municipality.
